Dr. Qian Zhang, a member of the National Academy of Innovation and a 2026 Roberts Innovation Fund Awardee at Yale University (PI: Dr. Liangbing Hu), presented the latest advances in ultrahigh-temperature plasma synthesis of extreme powders at the 2026 Yale Innovation Summit. The Yale Innovation Summit brought together researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders to showcase innovative technologies with real-world impact. Hosted by Yale Ventures, the Summit is the Northeast’s largest innovation conference, attracting more than 2,000 founders, investors, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to accelerate the commercialization of breakthrough technologies across climate, health, biotechnology, civic innovation, the arts, and technology. The 2026 Summit featured more than $450,000 in funding and prizes while showcasing hundreds of emerging ventures from Yale and across Connecticut.
